Types of wire we buy
Most loads cross categories. Building wire from a rough-in, tray cable from a line change and a box of Cat 6 from a tenant improvement can all leave on the same truck.

Medium voltage detailsHow selling works
No sorting, stripping or cleaning first. Tell us what is there and let the photos do the rest.
Metal, size, voltage, conductor count and approximate quantity, plus photos of the reel faces, tags and the whole pile.
We read the tags, check the constructions and tell you what we can take and what we cannot.
You get a number and the access questions: dock, forklift, hours, elevators and restrictions.
We schedule the truck, load it and handle freight from there, or agree a shipping arrangement for smaller lots.
Who we buy from
If your organization bought wire for a project and the remainder is sitting in a rack, a trailer or a yard, that is the conversation.
Minnesota coverage
Minnesota is one state and a lot of driving. Pickups are planned by region, so a load in Duluth and a load in Rochester are usually scheduled as separate trips rather than one long loop.
Also covering the surrounding communities and rural sites in each region, when the load justifies the trip.
Request a quote
Fill in what you know and skip what you do not. Photos of the reel faces, cable tags and jacket printing do more for an accurate quote than a long description.
FAQ
Copper and aluminum electrical wire and cable: building wire, industrial and tray cable, control and instrumentation cable, low-voltage and communication cable, and medium and high voltage cable when available. We do not buy transformers, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, generators, machinery or general scrap.
Yes. Partial reels are the normal case. Small lots are easiest to handle when they are combined with other material or located in the metro, but send the list and we will give you a straight answer.
Use the quote form on this page or email saleselectricalbuyers@gmail.com with your wire details and photos. Metal, size, voltage, conductor count and approximate footage are the key details, and photos of the reel tags do most of the work.
We pick up across Minnesota. Smaller lots that palletize well can also be shipped by freight. Either way the arrangement is agreed before anything moves.
No. Every lot is reviewed on its details and photos, and some constructions, conditions and voltages are not a fit. We will tell you what we can take and what we cannot.
We buy wire throughout Minnesota and work by appointment, so there is no walk-in counter or published street address. Material is reviewed from photos and picked up or shipped by agreement.
Send the footage, the voltage and a few photos. We review the inventory, discuss pricing and logistics, and arrange pickup or shipping when we agree.
